UNDERSTANDING FLAWS IN A RELATIONSHIP
The discovering of flaws is the second phase you may likely encounter in a relationship, the first is when you are driven by love and passion. At this second stage you will come to realized that the person you are in relationship with have some level of imperfections, weakness, flaws or some behavioral pattern that seems to contradict your way living.
This is where compatibility and mutuality is needed.
Discovering of flaws or weakness does not mean that your partner is bad or is not God will for you. Flaws or character are simply path of our lives that require perfection which at times are derivative of culture or upbringing i.e background or environment.
You have to understanding that no body is perfect we all have weaknesses or some flaws in our lives.
This stage require conflict resolution, because of different perspectives of both parties.
This is where so many relationship fade away because many persons hope they will marry spirit not a human being, at this stage passion and love may likely grow cold for some persons. But it require maturity and understanding with a balance perspective to keep the relationship moving.
You must understand that the reason why the flaws are revealed, is so that it can be corrected.
Both of you has to adjust in character, conduct I.e your way of life in order to have a suitable relationship that will end in marriage. Like as often said that relationship is two imperfect persons coming together to become perfect therefore, have this in your mind you will not have a 100% perfect person because you are not one yourself.
Reduce your expectations and allow God will to found expression in your life.
Now, understand that before God will give you go ahead, he already knew that your fiancée has some flaws.
You are only advisable to quit any relationship, if your fiancé disagree or refuse to adapt because you don't endure relationship but enjoy.
Understand that the reason for imperfection is so that your perfection can cover up for him or her and not to end the relationship.
NB: Be prudent at this stage, don’t break any relationship simply because your partner has some flaws.
