CHRISTLIKENESS OF CHARACTER

 

The partway to developing a good and quality character is to be conform to the image of Christ..

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be CONFORMED to the IMAGE OF HIS SON, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

God is highly interested in our character as His vessel. Therefore, Holy Spirit the master builder will work and develop in your  consciousness the kingdom perspective (way of life)  in order to be conform to the image of Christ so that the Christlikeness of your character will be see by all.

As a believer you must understand that you have the nature of Christ.  There are certain negative trait's of character that shouldn’t be found in you as an image bearer of Jesus and such character can never be found in the life of Jesus.

My emphasis here says any time you want to approach anybody in any manner ask yourself if it ware Jesus Christ would he had act this way. 

Are you aware that your character is a medium, and a tool for evangelism in the kingdom?.

Get this,  as a believer people adhere to 10% of what you say but they pattern their life after 90% of your character. There is a need to cultivate good character.

It’s important we understand that unbelievers have bible but they don’t study it, our lives is what they study when making any positive decision. That why Apostle Paul explain to us that we are living epistle for Christ "bible in human form". 

2 Corinthian 3:2 YE ARE OUR EPISTLE WRITTEN IN OUR HEARTS, known and read of all men.

3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared TO BE THE EPISTLE OF CHRIST ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

NB: Until you are conform to the image of Christ, possessing a quality character will be impossible because your value to God is the Christlikeness of your character.
